Dan Burn A constant threat at set pieces, as always, but may be a replacement for Stones in the backline instead of his partner. One wayward ball in the second half came close to an opener from Albania. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly One more confident performance from the rising star after his first cap against another side. A teammate failed to make the opportunity from a gorgeous backheel behind the opposing backline. The role is his to lose already. 7

The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly sloppy in possession though his whipped corners posed a danger. A useful game manager for the manager to have versus sides that sit back. Booked for a rash challenge. 6/10

The midfielder Deliveries from dead balls and set-plays created chances. Enjoyed freedom to drift on the left but was offside as the pass came with a chance to score. Given a merited rest after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Operated in a high role down the right while also put in dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality and dragged a shot wide. Replaced towards the end for Rogers, a fellow player, following a yellow card. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike well saved from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah holding position, it fell to him to stretch the play on the right but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

The captain The difference-maker scoring two more goals at international level. The opener a typical opportunist's goal while the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away from his marker. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Had a good opening after being played in by the midfielder however the keeper kept it out. Rashford produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5
