Individuals of an Italy-based clan of burglars who took over £1.2m valued of goods, including from ex- NUFC striker Isak, have been mandated to return just £1 per person.

Brothers Valentino Nikolov and Giacomo Nikolov, their sister Jela Jovanovic and her child Charlie Jovanovic travelled to the north-east of England to raid three houses in April 2024.

The group of four were imprisoned for from six and 10 years in May 2025.

At a criminal assets proceeding at the court, Jela and the brothers Nikolov were instructed to pay back £1 per person while Charlie must hand over over a thousand pounds.

Details of the Break-ins

The court previously heard the group arrived by ferry in the United Kingdom on March 27, 2024 and employed a campervan as their "base of operations", which they stationed at Scotch Corner and Durham service service stations while utilizing another car to scout out targets and carry out thefts.

On March 31 they took over £1m of goods including designer clothing, handbags, jewelry and a honor from a residence on a street in Jesmond, Newcastle, while the residents were away.

Legal Proceedings and Sentencing
